Just a few random photos we've taken recently on Avie's IPhone. Such an amazing gadget.
I seem to never tire of walking around Coronado. Quite a place.

Scenes from the Adams Street Roots Festival
On a simply beautiful Saturday, Avie and I paid a visit to Adams Street in San Diego for the annual Roots Festival. We saw a number of very fine bands and performers.
One of our favorites was San Diego's Mr. Gregory Page. When we first walked up to the bandstand, he was singing along to an old jazz-age recording, which immediately drew our attention. Mr. Page is eclectic, eccentric, stylish, and very witty, as well as being a terrific songwriter. I shot a brief video of Mr. Page, which can be viewed at the end of this post.
Another very good band was Folding Mr. Lincoln - another San Diego based band. Pure American rocking country.
I wasn't able to catch this three-piece blues band's name, but they made some beautiful blues. They are also featured in the video at the end of this post.
Other things in the neighborhood caught my eye, as is often the case...
On a lovely weekend in southern California, and dancing to the soulful music of Solid Ray Brown, good times are to be had by all.
