Summer Evening - La Jolla

Evening in La Jolla, California.

As much as we wanted to attend a health care town hall meeting this month and scream as loudly as we could that we want our country back, Avie and I instead went to San Diego for a few days.

We are, after all, under 60, so we have a good many years before President Obama's death panels have us euthanized. We figured, though, that it was time to enjoy our sad lives somewhat before than day arrives. Gosh, if we had known we wouldn't have been such liberal dupes and we certainly would have voted for McCain. Guess we deserve to be put to death.

After dinner, we took a short stroll around downtown La Jolla. It was jumping, as it always does on a beautiful Summer evening.

I have always thought that La Jolla as the most European town I've seen in the U.S.

Last rays of sun over the Pacific.

I want this truck.
